Tart Cherry Seedling (Prunus cerasus)

Tart cherry (Prunus cerasus) is a tart, flavorful fruit commonly used in baking, cooking, and making preserves. These cherries are smaller and more acidic than sweet cherries, with varieties like Montmorency being particularly prized for their bright red color and intense tangy taste.

These are grown from seed and are not a grafted 'named' variety.  We are growing them to add pollen sources for our named varieties at the nursery and to trial fruit quality.
