Saskatoon Berry - 'Smoky'

The 'Smoky' Saskatoon berry is a vigorous, disease-resistant variety that produces large, dark purple berries with a sweet, rich flavor. Known for its high yield and adaptability, it is a popular choice for both home gardeners and commercial growers in colder climates.  It is extremely cold hardy.

This variety is self-pollinating but yields will be increased with another variety planted nearby.  Count on a mature height of around 12 feet.

A Grade:  ~1' with a substantial root system

B Grade: ~6"-12"  with a good root system
